Project description: The Project involves the construction, commissioning and operation of a new, electrified standard gauge railway in two geographically defined Lots:
- Lot 3; consisting of 294 km mainline and 74 km of sidings/passing loops from Makutupora to Tabora, traversing through Manyoni District in the Singida Region, and Sikonge, Uyui and Tabora Districts in Tabora Region;
- Lot 4; consists of 130 km of mainline and 35 km of sidings/passing loops from Tabora to Isaka, traversing through Tabora, Uyui and Nzega Districts in the Tabora region, and Kahama District in the Shinyanga Region.
